Ok so not a lot has been happening on the forum right? People have asked me why nothing has been happening (or more so why I haven't done anything) simple answer, I've been busy. It was the holidays the other week, and I've been busy cooking food for everyone, cleaning everything... and generally a lot more than I usually do. I don't really mind that I've been busy, but it has kind of slowed site things down a lot.

Plus the Orange box, 2007's game of the year (or more so games of the year). Although I had previously owned Half life 2, and episode 1, it was a pleasant surprise playing them again (since I hadn't for a while) they were as nice as they were before plus my new graphics card added to the overall effect.
Episode 2 on the other hand is quite fun, especially with the achievements and what not, you can probably play that for 15+ hours just trying to unlock all the achievements.

What about Team fortress 2 and Portal? I hear you say, well look Team fortress 2 is a very fun game although many quake fortress and team fortress classic fans don't really like it (I'm one of those old fans who played team fortress when it was on quake 1, and also used to play TFC a lot). Generally speaking I thought it was going to be a lot worse than it was, having it simplified a lot makes the whole game harder, which is good. All the classes have been changed quite a lot, and are easier to control, although there are lack of grenades (which is sad) I think the overall game play has been improved measurably. What about the graphics? well hell, it's always fun having huge cartoony heavy's climbing up a ramp shooting the crap out of you with their minigun, with a cartoon German medic healing them. What can I say? It's basically a reinvention of the wheel that is awfully fun.

And Portal? well what can I say about it? It's brilliant, ok maybe that's going a bit far... but it is fun even though it's short 3 hour gameplay is over before you knew what hit you. The whole game centers around your character being in the aperture science training area, which is controlled by a computer etc etc. I won't go into details of the story, but hell is it funny. The computer is probably one of the funniest A.I's I've seen in a game, anyway if you like puzzles and humour... play portal, if not then don't.


All in all you get 5 games for the price of one, What can you complain about?

Anyway I will start adding some more RP posts and what not to the site soon, and hey guys don't forget to try and make new threads, people will continue them if you start them.

It seems if I want to get anything achieved (RP wise or otherwise) I'm going to have to finish off a lot of information in my wiki. So what am I going to do? well hell I'm going to do it. I'm going to attempt to finish off all the forum topics about the Nartherael Mythos and my characters over the next few weeks, I know I've said it a lot of recent but things are really getting hectic... or more so were up until today.

Hopefully over the coming weeks I will fill out a lot of interesting stuff for the Mythos and perhaps even start up a few other RP's that different people can join in with if they like. Basically what I'm hoping to do is finish off all the info on the different Nartherael based groups, cultures, a few planets, schooling, and hierarchy of government. I may add more things than I've just mentioned before but basically that's all I'll get onto my site over the coming weeks, unless you're all lucky (Which would probably mean that I'll die or something and not get to achieve my goal of putting crap onto my site).

Also Happy Birthday to Luke for yesterday, I know he occasionally lurks around my site from time to time so maybe he'll see this, but it's doubtful.

One last thing, I'm very pissed off about a numerous amount of reasons, especially people who whinge about not having enough money even though they spend exuberant amounts of money every time they go out, hey if I can save money and I don't work then people who do work can save a lot more money than me, so stop your bloody whinging it's pathetic.

Otherwise I hope you all look forwards to the things that are coming, and the restarting of the Nartherael Comic (I might finish some of the pages today since I did actually finish them months ago I just didn't post them because I didn't feel like it).

I put the arcade back online, you can visit it from Arcade. At the moment we have barely any games, just rude games basically, but have a go and see how you do anyway.

The time has come for a new role playing event, and yes there is actually a new role playing event being held. Anyway basically there's a new role playing event running that anyone is allowed to join, well as long as you're a registered member who has 50+ genuine posts etc etc. You also have to have a chat to me about character creation, since we actually don't have a fancy pants dynamic character generation tool as of yet (I think we'll have one later this year or early next).

Anyway please do join in if you're up to RPing, as long as you talk to me properly about the world and what not. If you do anything too ridiculous and act too silly, I will have to edit your post and maybe eject you from the RP. I wouldn't want to, but it's better than the whole RP getting out of control and what not.
