About Angelos

Angelos is an original dinosaur character created by Louise.

Name Change

Angelos was originally known as "Angie", however, it led to assumption that he was female. Angelos is in fact male.

Origin

Angelos is not an extinct animal brought back to life. He is an entirely new species, and the only one of his kind. Because he is an experimental creature, he can't be given any chance to reproduce; He is sterile and his DNA is completely incompatible with other animals. It is a wonder that his own DNA and life-force are so stable, and this is probably why he was named after "Angel".

He was created in a genetic engineering facility, HERT, where new animals are created for various purposes. Angelos officially had no purpose. He was created by one of the top professors in a competition; The competition was to see who could create the best replication of an extinct animal.

Physical Appearance

Angilosaurus is a completely engineered animal species, which vaguely resembles (and is based on) the Dilong. It is likely that his DNA is based on the Dilong, which may have been an ancestor to the T-Rex.

He has large forward-facing eyes, dexterous forelimbs, strong hind legs, and a stiff tail to maintain balance whilst running.

The excuse for Angelos' 3D model looking "bulkier" than the Dilong is that he is young, and Louise didn't have a lot of time to detail the 3D mesh.
