[edit] Introduction
Ball-jointed dolls (BJDs) are a type of doll with articulated joints connected by "ball" sockets. The most popular (to our knowledge) of these are produced by companies in Korea and Japan (as listed below).
[edit] Dollfie Misconception
Often people use the word "dollfie" to categories ball-jointed dolls. This is incorrect since dollfies are another type of doll which do not have "real" ball joints or strings (many argue they should not be considered BJDs).
