Taru is a lone-operating soldier, or rather "defender" assigned tasks as part of claiming back her planet from disaster. Her real name is hidden to protect her identity, but she also claims it is unpronounceable in human languages.

Bella is a "cat faerie" or Fylan. She doesn’t fly or have any other magical powers, but her small size gives her advantages — Such as being able to hide inside bags or tree trunks. Bella is the first "creature" to discover Sophie.

Sophie has ventured into a mystical fantasy world. At first, Sophie only dreamed and imagined this strange word — But soon finds out she is really there! Sophie is inquisitive and loves learning.

Asrai is a Dwarf Dragon, a rarely-seen mystical creature. She eventually becomes a companion to Taru. She is fond of flowers, and often goes out on expeditions to search for rare species. Like all Dwarf Dragons, Asrai can't breathe fire.

A cloned dinosaur created by a mad genetic engineer. Kjell's species, known as Palityrannus, resemble a midget Tyrannosaurus Rex. "Palityrannus" means "again tyrant". "Kjell" is a variation of "kettle" in Swedish. And he was formerly known as Angelos.

An ancient creature who protects pure-hearted people from disasters. He can fly, teleport and breathe fire. His cells are constantly renewed and age very slowly - But as a penalty for this, he loses a tiny bit of memory every time he sleeps.

Is Sumire's brother. Gullible and Sumire fears humans might capture him one day.

[edit] Vernon Athelstan
Vernon is a traveling trader who provides both "common" and "specialty" goods. He comes from a long family history of merchants. When not attending to merchant business, he likes scouring the scrap markets for rare, lost items in hopes of trading them or bringing them to museums.
In his young life, he has trained in various weapon and vehicle control at the Academy. Vernon is skilled in mathematics, piloting various vehicles, and weapons use. His weapon of choice is the Mu 6 Revolver.
